I understand that after the meeting, it is possible that we could find ourselves travelling farther for post heart attack care. It seems, on the face of it, a potentially ridiculous idea, bearing in mind the projected growth in the population of West Berkshire AND the fact swift care is essential to avoid further post attack harm.

People will still be able to comment on these options until October and this feedback will be used to develop and revise the proposals.

The final option(s) will then be part of a public consultation which will begin in late 2009.
