If lots of older people do sell up and go it will mean more homes for us who stay; we just want one.

My understanding is that JC , ( he who should never be questioned ) , is going to build a house for everyone when he "sweeps" to power in the next couple of months . OK so Mr and Mrs mortgaged up the hilt will suddenly find themselves on the wrong side of the equity fence but at least one problem will be solved .

He won't. He can't. He won't be able to borrow the 💰. No sane institution or government would lend it. And if he did manage to borrow the hundreds of billions he needs for his delusions then it would be at a crippling percentage. So in a nutshell he is safe saying anything. Free unicorns? Why not? He can blame the IMF when he can't deliver.

The right-wing humpbacks have the advantage over the left-wing snowies because the left has too many parties. For Corbyn to win, the humpbacks would have to stay at home, so the humpies will have to get the timing right to dump Mrs Pinocchio.

Cuts to poor people’s services.

What has that got to do with council staff having to get back to work?

Need to look busy while the government and council remove entitlements from the vulnerable; doesn’t look good.

However, I wasn’t being completely serious.

"Quot homines, tot sententiae" as they say in the local comp . Must be a depressing place to live where opinions are controlled by the state but I wonder how many realise that, as far as freedom of speech goes ,it is an earned privilege not a given right . One only has to witness the vociferous outpourings of the baying faithful to see that we are very near to the return of censorship in the spoken and written word .
Even the good old Newbury Forum has a beady eye perusing our opinions . The fact that it is a robot makes it even more alarming .

Oh I see - not having much to do with the local authority you had me at a disadvantage there. I thought you were privy so some information denied the rest of us.

You don’t need Kojak to find reports of the Monster Raping Tory’s throttling local settlement budgets and its affects on the wretched.

Its almost as if there is a penalty for electing a Conservative MP with a big majority; I suppose they think they can get away with it.

Yep. If your not voting Corbyn you should be barred from voting. The supreme leader will lead the people to a land of milk and honey where all the trains run on time, the NHS is fully staffed, all prescriptions are free, university degrees are free and everyone gets a living wage. Power to the people. rolleyes.gif

Communism for all, not just the few! Still might get a job on one of the new collectives, if I'm deemed politically reliable.

That is a bit of an over reaction. In Wales and Scotland prescriptions are free and in Scotland there are no University fees so it's not much of a leap for Labour. Why shouldn't we have the same as Scotland even now.
