Me thinks you chaps are not taking this seriously.
 . Magna Carta is probably the most misused piece of literary propaganda of the last 1000 years. John tore it up, his son used it to try and curry favour with the barons and nothing in it dealt with the plight of the peasant. Every monarch up to the Protectorate "played" with it for their own ends.But of course we can't expect the present political elite to bother themselves with such trivia.  -------------------- Si non prius succederent.......... relinquere
