Instead of hindering the flow of debate on these boards, and just in case anybody wants to hear what you say or can remember, post your thoughts and meanderings on this thread.

Please feel free to refer us to the original post which you felt compelled to muse about, but just post your reply here eh?

You know, all under one roof. as it were.

Thus anyone who enjoys reading you knows where to look. And those who feel you add little to the debate about Newbury, it's problems and it's rewards can get on with it elsewhere.

So I would ask that everyone please respect this by not posting on this thread, and just let ce get on with it.

You can have this little nook all to yourself. There's lovely.

Good idea RB. Now why did CE not think of that? Would have been nice for him to have been the OP of the fred though. I think you may find that quite a few may join in with a bit of fun with ce though.

I thought it was a particularly cynical idea, we all post in different ways and if you want to post, you should accept others people will too. why should CE be ostracised?

Nice.

You wouldn't call the poets in Westminster Abbey "ostracised" because they're all in one place would you Strafin or that people who enjoy the 'Country Matters' in the NWN are 'ostracised' because it's all on one page.

Nothing Much, knows exactly what he's doing. He's not like a child with a broken chromosome, he's a fully grown adult. He has been banned from 'the other place' (any guesses as to why?) and has become a divisive element on here.

He knows what he's doing as can be judged by the fact that he said he would refrain from doing it. And then promptly jumped in on Andy Capps' Greenham thread.

I thought that maybe
he was writng in Haikus but
when checked they weren't.

Giving him his own place makes perfect sense.

No, what makes perfect sense, if you don't want to read his contributions, is to not bother reading them.

Are not all the poets in Westminster Abbey dead?

Not sure, seems excessive. Surely the answer would be to not read his ramblings or put him on ignore ?

Not really, because if you were to put him on ignore all that would happen is that you wouldn't see his posts any more, the threads that he posts his nonsense into would still have been pulled off-topic by his ramblings in the first place.

If you want to post stuff that's not related to the thread subject, why is it so hard to just create your own thread, as a courtesy to others?

Lots of threads spin off into a death spiral of bickering and posturing, I seem to not be the only person who realises that the forum is "a bit of fun really" and not some Oxbridge debating Society nor is it the UN chamber. I see a lot of posts on here from people far too full of themselves and their opinions but I try (not aleays successfully) to chuckle and move on. I suggest others at least try to take themselves a little less seriously sometimes, even Andy1979 can make the odd salient point now and again!

Reminds me of time in SA don't you know when as an initiation type ceremony one had to pluck an ostrich......Part of which was catching the b****y thing which, contrary to popular belief, doesn't stick its head in the sand but gallops at 40 mph usually in your direction . wink.gif

Well I enjoyed my childhood. I thought of buying my old house in Tilebarn,. MrsNM passed before that happened.
That was a shock.

I might have a vagrant prose but some posts are a bit boring.....So I try to cheer things up (well for me at least)
I read everything.
