Why oh why can't some of the shops in Newbury have a 'cash only' till or the like?
Today I stood in Boots for the majority of my lunch break whilst everyone in front of me paid for items of a few pounds by cut out vouchers from magazines and newspapers, credit cards, store cards. Some even used two cards to pay for different things. Some had trouble remembering their pin number, others forgot something and wents back to get something else. Give me a till where I can go to the cashier and pay my 3 pounds for my lunch!! It only takes me a few seconds to pay and get a receipt. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  All I want is to enjoy my lunch on a nice day like today and not be stuck in a queue! Rant over. |
