I see the old Barclays bank building has a notice on it to turn it into a giant Ladbrokes.....

Pain in the a**e for me since they moved Barclays.
Used to be very convenient but now I have to walk across town to get there.
I enjoy the added security of a cash machine actually inside the bank if I can.

Oh great, more crap on the high street. I'd like to see all betting stores closed down. They are the scourge of our towns.

How many do we need?? We already have 3 in Newbury, one in Thatcham, and one in Chievley. Plus 2 Corals, 3 (?) Stan James and an independent. Possibly two if that one down by the clock tower is still open.

They wouldn't allow it in the Grand Place in Brussels, which is a bit like our Market Place...

I suppose the advantage of a betting shop is you at least have a small chance of winning but with a Banker....... rolleyes.gif
