The best thing I got was probably a set of spacers for my car (makes the wheels stick out wider) and some coilovers (makes my car lower and very uncomfortable so I don't need to give people lifts)

Aside from that I got some nice clothes and some Salad Cream (yes, seriously).

What was the best gifts you received? (or gave!)

I got a cheeseboard! A proper hardwood cutting board with cheeses (including a blue one from the Blur guitarist) already prepared, and quince jelly!

It also excludes you from many roads in Newbury and Thatcham.

I was very happy to receive my longed for "cox" related gift - a copy of the quantum universe - not many pictures but a pretty cover! But also got a copy of Nigella's Domestic Goddess - so I can always bake a cake if I don't understand the science.

Also thrilled to get a kindle which I'm loving more than I thought I would.

Unfortunately I'll have to wait to use it as no-one gave me any chalk to use on it.......

Of course, my dream bike. Dream option list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjdCTY5bGko&hd=1 - Very sad to have had to sold her.

Other gifts I recieved - a very nice Helly Hansen jacket, some nice jumper/shirt thing combined, no money though unfortunately although I did get £50 odd quid for being taxi service on Christmas evening/boxing day morning.

Nice one, and all he did was follow Triumph. Same old product, just bigger and more shiny each year. Speed Twin, 1934 - base design still going strong. Power of marketing - has always kept me amazed.

Well Christmas is a time of good cheer,
I asked Santa for a proper long handle scrubbing brush.
What bliss to reach the parts shoulder joints fail to reach.
It detaches itself, well I do, and you have the equivalent of
of a scourge. Not quite Opus Dei
I wish I had done it years ago but felt my Mrs would think I was getting old.

"I am older than that now"
