As the snow falls all the idots drivers come out to play! i was on my way to work and listening to Newburys radio station and the amont of phone calls about people driving like idiots was amazing well we all like abit of snow but we stil have to drive carefully!
And that goes for the bloke in the 4x4 who had great delight in verbally abusing me for having the right of way over the mini roundabout by the post office!
And then edging closer and closer to my car.We allways give way to the right and allways will
or was it because you were driving a 4x4?
Well i had the last laugh because this bloke stalled his car and then got in the wrong lane.
I work for the emergency services and see these type of people every time the weather conditions take a turn for the worse!

There'll be some that would argue that, but some 4x4s have all weather tyres or traction control systems that work well in poor conditions. In any case, the people driving as if there is not a problem, cause others to panic somewhat. It is at very least, discourteous.

I'm sure ossy1 would have flashed her badge, had them hands on roof and legs kicked apart while she got the cuffs out - just like they do on the telly. tongue.gif

I spent a fortune on the right 4X4 for the couple of days when it snows so I am just exercising my right to let other drivers know where they have gone wrong.

Perhaps you would care to exercise your right & tell other 4x4 drivers to stop being so arrogant & refrain from tailgating the drivers who are less fortunate than yourselves !! angry.gif

Nah...THATs 2+1. 2x1 (as you should know Biker1) is a bike!

Seeing some of the bikers riding in the recent snow and ice (admittedly young moped riders) they would struggle to cope with having two brain cells....

Most likely their only form of transport as it was with me with my first motorised vehicle, ( dear departed parents could not afford a car themselves let alone finance one for myself like a lot of parents seem to do these days ! ). I can tell you one thing though, i honestly think it makes you a better driver for future years. There's nothing like sliding along on your a*se a few times to make you learn about different weather / road conditions & the consequences of going to fast. ohmy.gif ohmy.gif

laugh.gif Reminds me of years ago when I rode (or tried to ride!) my Honda 50 over a cattle grid (a big one with cylindrical tubes).
