Before the weekend is upon us and the biannual rigmarole of altering the clocks descends , a quick straw poll to the 3 or 4 contributors to this forum on their thoughts .
1. Retain the present system of altering twice a year ? 2.Stay on GMT ? ( ie winter time ) 3.Stay on BST ? ( summer time ). 4. Don't know ? ( admission of not caring unacceptable as an excuse ). The pros and cons have been discussed ad infinitum and still we are stuck with something that has no relevance today . -------------------- Si non prius succederent.......... relinquere
