Looking at the comment, I immediately thought of an improvement.
Take a rough sleeper (the rougher the better) to your exposed property and offer a space to lie down. Maybe offer a duvet and a bevvy, et voila. A human sandbag. That forum is far too nice for such a comment. This one? Possibly  ce |

You mean like issuing Job Seekers with waders so they can offer a delivery service, and piggy backs to people trapped in their houses?
Of course, this latest may well solve NTCs problem about what to do with the sunken bowling green. All they now need to do is tell the club that the water has now been put back, so a couple of runs with the heavy roller will solve their problem. -------------------- Know your place!
