Because the MSM narrative is total bollocks. Has been for years.
President Harris will be interesting..I can see a flight of wealth and brains from the USA over the next few years...

President Harris, I can see the democrats all lining up already for a circle jerk.

Disappointed that we are getting a Demorat POTUS. Funny on how all the riots stopped after Biden "won" the election.

I can see a President Harris by June, as the Socialist Left of the Democratic party will be all over Biden the day after taking the oath of office. If he doesn't step down, the riots will begin again, and you could see bloodshed on the streets.

Where are all the "not my President riots?"

Well, to bump this thread, finally found out what the problem was, got a new car in the early spring and was having exactly the same issue so I just kind of ignored it. Talking to someone down at the boatyard just the other week and mentioned I'd had problems with DAB and they asked if I had anything plugged into the 12v socket? Err yes, a charger, took it out and drove home to perfect reception. Been fine since. Apparently cos cheapo Chinese stuff ain't shielded it interferes with the signal.

So if anyone out there has the same problem, try that.

Last time I saw Joe Biden junior he looked quite perky. Probably surprise us all and complete two terms.

Joe Biden senior is 187

(Sorry Eye ).

I can confidently predict he will step down, thusly giving the USA their first female of colour president. If she comes out tomorrow as gender neutral she could be in the chair by February...... Democrats.

Not handing over power. If the average life expectancy is 76 years in the US, then I'd say there is a better than average chance.

And Bidens 78, a great choice for a president. "Get down Mr President!"

"Oh, bugger".

Biden to win and then US to have its first female president with in 4 years.

Why would an incumbent president hand over power? Won't happen.

I think you might be about to find out! 🤦

QUOTE (SirWilliam @ Nov 2 2020, 09:42 PM) *
It does seem somewhat perverse that we keep electing persons to run the country who are quite simply incapable of organising a village fete. Even turkeys do not vote for xmas but that is exactly what the British public do on a regular basis just because it our "democratic" right.
If we return to "normality" tomorrow our children, who have yet to be conceived, will be footing the bill all their lives, assuming that is there is any employment left. Bearing in mind that this virus could be around for the next 100 years, or days, (no one knows), so at what point do they say enough is enough and we need to get back to work?
In the early stages the virus was transmitted by personal contact which warranted some form of distancing ,but it is now obviously become atmospherically endemic so one would need to be encased in a lead box to avoid contact. But does anyone take this pragmatic approach to the problem? Do they ****, no its shut everything down because we will have a vaccine by next week. Well good luck with that idea Mr Hancock because you obviously know sod all about immunisation and even less about virology, despite you supposedly having access to the best brains on the matter.
Least the market for those turkeys, who didn't ask to be part of the festive frivolities, will be decimated also. dry.gif dry.gif

I would think it's not too difficult for every GP to simply identify all those at risk, old, fat, infirm. They then have to self isolate while the young and fit get back to education and work otherwise there will be no one to pay for this. You can't simply say it's the government at fault because it's happening worldwide. Who would of even believed back in march that we would still be in this situation? Crazy!

Imho, what the country needs next time is an electoral pact to deliver PR. We shouldn’t have to put an with another extreme government (left or right).

🤔 Hmm, extreme right 🤔 Adolf Hitler, Francisco Franco, Mussolini. Bojo the clown?.......not so much.

I'm just sitting back and drinking it all in as the whole lot spirals out of control and ends up burning up in the sun. Now red Len has threatened to lose the next election for labour....son, they don't need your help, honestly.

Is this the same Labour party that is screaming BAME diversity at us morning, noon and night? No, probably another lot with a similar sounding name. One of them should issue a disclaimer.

They can't help themselves, poor misunderstood loves,

"Poplar MP Apsana Begum named in Labour party anti-Semitism scandal as Jeremy Corbyn is suspended".

Is the same MP as,

"Labour MP Apsana Begum charged with housing fraud"

Bless.

Well ofcourse Labour May have some racist supporters but most of them voted Tory in the last election. ;-)

Only the ones who couldn't cope with the anti Semitic trope that is the labour dumpster fire...sorry I meant labour party. Still it's a shame they couldn't just offer The human rights watchdog a peerage, I mean, it worked last time.

Well folks, despite the screams of protest from many on here to the contrary it turns out (to nobody's surprise) that labour is indeed anti Semitic. Good bye Jeremy, there a special bolgia waiting for you.

I’m in Kendal atm. This morning in 1/2 hour I saw one chap come out of a shop, take his mask off and proceed to start coughing. Another chap coughing as walking along and a third man spit phlegm. I’ve not witnessed anything like that in Newbury since this started.

What did you expect? Thy's Oop t'north lad.

If the government could get track and trace working we'd be a lot further along. The WHO have been shouting from day 1 that this is the key. Instead of awarding contracts to their mates, they should have given the money to the NHS and local authorities.

Because of course the NHS has such a stellar record of success with anything IT.

Slippery slope though isn’t it? Alcohol. I’ve not had a drink for over 8 years. Smoking’s the other thing that’s nasty.

Alcohol, tobacco and meat. All very bad for you and usually all things you do when you're young. They should make alcohol as socially unacceptable as smoking is now.
