Why isn't the Michaelmas Fair here for Michaelmas rather than two weeks later?

The people putting up the Christmas lights got in the way!
 I'll be going along at some point, even if I just eat cotton candy and don't go on any of the tired-looking and expensive rides. |

Town was very busy tonight. Too much time looking at young women than where I was actually going...
 It's good as I suppose it brings more people to the area, cafes which are normally shut were open and busy so that's good. |
