I hope they caught the terrorists, or whatever warranted waking up the whole of south Newbury (I would imagine) at 3:40 this morning.

Yes, I agree. It must have bee important as it costs a lot of money to pu the chopper up.

It was not the police. It was the WBDC parking warden tactical helicopter. They had heard that someones car was touching a double yellow. laugh.gif

Seriously though, I hope that whoever it was that caused the police to buzz us was caught.

Should the Police publish a statement everytime the Helicopter is scrambled ?

They already do. It's called a daily press briefing.

It's then up to the press to decide what they publish.

I hope they caught who they were after and furthermore that when brought to court they get a fitting sentence. (see various recent "courts too leniant" posts!).
