Not too sure if Mr Cable is using irony to highlight the lack of direction in the UK political arena or he actually believes it's his destiny ?
Never mind ,I am sure Ms Abbott will give him a lesson in simple mathematics if he asks nicely .

No , it's primary objective is to raise awareness that if you play the race card loud enough those nice white middle class people in the shires will send you money in order to appease their collective conscience , thus negating your responsibility to help yourselves .
