Right, as promised here is my prediction before a ball is kicked.

1 Chelsea
2 Man U
3 Man C
4 Arsenal
5 Liverpool
6 Spurs
7 Everton
8 Villa
9 Blackburn
10 Sunderland
11 Fulham
12 Stoke
13 West Ham
14 Wigan
15 Birmingham
16 Newcastle
17 Wolves
18 Bolton
19 West Brom
20 Blackpool

This will probably come back to haunt me come next May laugh.gif

I think you are wrong on the top 5 and Blackpool might surprise us. I think City will need a few more seasons. Liverpool will be very lucky to get into the top 4.

Spurs had a good start and should have won. We were the more aggressive side. We missed so many good chances. If it wasn't for their goalkeeper Hart we would have been 4 or 5 up.

Blackpool had a good victory over Wigan, at Wigans ground.

AV beat WH.

Chelsea beat WBA 6 -0. Blackburn beat Everton 1-0

Chelsea won!! Chelsea won!! We are on our way back to the top again.

After Saturday's performance I can not see City doing well. Probably a few more seasons behind them first. Spurs I am not sure about. United probably 2nd or 3rd place.

Would it not be nice if Blackpool had a fantastic season and got into Europe.

They didn't win the charity shield against United though. But it will be an interesting season.

Spurs had a hiccup yesterday. Losing to the team everybody can beat; Wigan. Not that is was because of their hard effort, but a goal keeping area on behalf of spurs. But we can't totally blame the keeper because the forwards did not perform.

On a positive note; Sunderland beat City 1-0. Ex spurs Bent scoring the goal.

Hiccup?

Didn't you beat them 9-1 or something in the league only a few months back!

Wigan are ruining my Fantasy Football team! Stuffed at home by Blackpool then Chelsea (2nd of these not a surprise) then they go and keep a clean sheet and take all 3 points at White Hart Lane! laugh.gif

Yes, that made me laugh! League champions indeed! They will be lucky to get through the next round of the UEFA League. There is only going to be one winner this season and that will be Chelsea. City is another laugh. They got beaten by Sunderland. At least that was less of a humiliation. Will Redknapp be taking Spurs down this season?

Spurs, City, United are having a bit of a bumpy start, but Chelsea and Arsenal seem to be doing well. I predict that Arsenal will fall away and Chelsea will take a strong lead. Spurs will pick up and do well. We've got a good squad.

Must give credit to Blackpool who have had a good start so far. I think everybody would like to see them stay up.

But for how long? They certainly don't have the squad to go much further.

Very quickly, and it isn't the managers fault.

Spurs did superbly tonight. (Yes it's not a PL match and no I'm not a Spurs fan).

yes, i listened to it on the radio. We are now at the top of the league. Even the game where we lost we showed guts and spirit; to come back from 4 down and with one less player. And don't forget we were away from home as well.
