I just wanted to interrupt our usual schedule of misery and pestilence to cheer the safe return of the cute dog! smile.gif It must have been a bad week for the owners.

I wonder what the forum crowd would have made if it was a pit bull that had gone AWOL?

I don't know why people want to steal somebody's pet. Glad the dog has been reunited with it owners.

Did you read the article? It wasn't stolen, it escaped from the garden.

I didn't think it was stolen. I thought it had just got out and wandered off.

I skimmed read it... but I am sure - especially on here - that if, and when, I get it wrong somebody would pop their head up and enlighten me/ us.... as you have done. Now if the owners pop on here then they will be delighted that a mistake has been turned into a heroic rescue. A bag of dog biscuits are on there way to you my friend. wink.gif

At least my mistake allowed you to write another post. All donations will be welcome... I am saving up for the Newbury Weekly News book of forum errors. tongue.gif

Why pick on my post which was posted before the previous one had appeared? At least it wasn't me who asked if you had read the article. I was just stating my take on what happened.

And I must say, if you don't mind, that it was a very beautiful and artistic take. In fact it made me cry... it was beautiful! Do you often have poetic tenancies; i.e. a natural gift... or were you on the bottle? laugh.gif

PS don't mind me; I am in a good mood. wink.gif

With a bit of luck; yes it would, and I would very pleased to see it so.
