It is clear the Police have decided enough candour is enough, the general public can lump their FoI. It seems they are putting a blanket ban on information relating to surveillance regardless of the veracity of the request.

"The BBC will be appealing against these refusals on the basis that the information sought was a copy of a document that had already been compiled and so our request does not involve an unreasonable administrative burden."
