When I used to have motorcycles, I worked in Basingstoke. One day, predicted all day sunshine. Well at 2pm, HEAVY rain decended out of nowhere. By 6pm, I came past Morrisons on the Dual Carriageway and had to drive through the puddle pictured. Not quite as bad but that particular area is prone to developing floods...not fun!
I can't imagine why they don't figure out what the problem is and try and resolve it. It's a major trunk road.

Crikey Timbo. On a brief look I thought it looked like quite a nice canal.

Driving along the A4 between Hambridge Road lights and B&Q on Sunday I was following a white transit ( colour not relevant),who drove through the standing water at such speed the previous flooded road was cleared , I now present the answer to flooded areas. Council's please take note. wink.gif

Not entirely sure where it ended up but I wouldn't have wanted to be a pedestrian or cyclist .

'Avoid Basingstoke' can be sound advice, but in terms of the true topic here, surely 'avoid A33 in Basingstoke' is a better title?

And I still can't wash my car with a hosepipe.

But you can pay for someone to come and clean your car for you, using your hose pipe.
Isn't that Ironic?

When Parker's away, I will come wash FAB1 for you.

You can only pay someone if they are already an established business though.
