Others have done this sort of thing on here so I thought I would have a go!
Anyone recommend any good roofing contractors?
I've got a leak and have also been watching too many programmes on "Rogue Traders".
Smallish job I should imagine.
Trouble is I don't know enough about roofs not to be fed bull****.

The assumption made is a flat roof. That's what Malone and Co do. If it's clay tiles or slates you need a builder.

There is some new technology about now which uses rubber rather than felt, tar and flaming torches. Easy Peasy DIY job no flame, comes as a single piece kit and has a fifty year warranty.
I have used it and it was so simple and ended up with a perfect roof.

Thanks for the replies so far anyway - most helpful.

Malone repaired my pitched, clay-tiled roof.

Good on them, I stand corrected.

Well, don't stand too long. I was wondering what I could do to replace a traditional flat roof covering, yet again - the link was great, thanks for the tip!

Newbury Roofing re-roofed my garage with felt-very quick service, used him as insurance company told me to & was not disappointed with result.

Mark Martin has fixed tiled roof in 2 of my houses & done work for lots of friends & family-genuinely great job every time & always a good price, trust him to fix it without fuss.

If it's a flat roof you want, we've just had an EPDM roof put on an extention having researched it & we're pleased with it so far. The builder we used was Roy Russell from Compton-he was brilluant, good price, great job, considerate, kept to time scale & delivered exactly what he promised.Top job.

Good luck!

I used Paul Wigmore recently. He was first class and knew his stuff. Has full accreditation so he can deal with all the building regs if required. You find him on Yell.
