I'd like to pay tribute to the police for listening to public concern and getting their act together.

After all those years of criticism for not investigating property crime, apparently some people smashed up a few phone boxes and office windows in London last week, and even graffitid slogans around the place. 14 of those present are now plastered across the Sunday papers as 'suspects'.

So when I get the wing mirrors kicked off my car, or when my wife's town centre shop gets the windows done in, I can rest assured that the 'full force of the law' will be applied, eh readers?

So, have you've got a CCTV camera panned onto your car all the time and your wife has one panned onto her shop all the time then? wink.gif

Evening if he did I doubt it would make a difference. Shops/ multibillion pound industries are valued more than individuals. Where I've live they've video recorded kids causing trouble and nothing was done. The police said; (even with video evidence) – that the evidence against the kids wasn't strong enough. Then another police officer told us 'we are here to contain the trouble only'. He then went on and said that the resources aren't there to take the matter further.

BTW - is this the same David "full force of the law" Cameron from the restaurant-trashing Bullingdon Club? I think we should be told.
