Hi - on behalf of Yell, thought it would be useful to address some of your points.

As you know, the 2010/11 Reading and Newbury edition of the Yellow Pages has just started to be delivered and contains up to date contact details for local businesses wishing to advertise in the area. It also contains a wealth of other information such as a guide to free places to visit in the area, emergency contacts and travel information.

There is still a strong demand for printed directories - Yellow Pages directories were used in the last year on average almost two million times a day - that's 22 times a second. They are a very significant source of sales leads for many small businesses and an important way for them to promote themselves locally. Yell's products, (Yellow Pages and online directory Yell.com) helped to generate £77 billion last year for businesses appearing in them.

The new compact directory mentioned in a previous post will be rolled out nationally from this summer, so Reading and Newbury residents will receive a compact edition in February 2011.

In West Berkshire, your old directory can be recycled in the fortnightly green box kerbside collection.

If you have any queries about the delivery of your directory, you can call us on 0800 671 444.
