I queued for 10 minutes the the week before last just to get out of my parking space! I gave up in the end and went for a coffee and a bite to eat with my children at Costas.

On that subject, I am REALLY happy that M&S is now at the retail park and their coffee and customer service is excellent. Yippeeeeee. Love it. biggrin.gif

I didn't like the £3 M&S coffee but their staff were friendly and helpful. It has been rammed, just because there's a recession on, doesn't mean people won't spend money, they just will be more careful. Free parking and a now good selection of shops? That'll do it.

I think the car park and the traffic flow needs a complete re-design.

It has been rammed

Well, here's another one who doesn't understand what 'rammed' means in this context smile.gif

Anyway, I don't understand what the fuss is - I went on Monday and it was busy but there wasn't a problem. [smug smiley]

Busy as in "everyone was rammed into a small area". It was rammed at the bar for example.

I purposely chose my word. It is a figure of speech that had JeffG had a life, would realise that people often purposely use English in a distorted way for effect; like verbalising nouns for instance. Anyway; as Strafin pointed out, rammed is a common slang for being full, or no room! It's a figure of speech ... now if you don't mind... (cont'd)

Yes - very clever, editing your earlier posts. Just because at least two of us didn't understand what you meant. I do have a life, thank you.

What is hard to understand here?

You knew perfectly well what was meant. If you really don't know or understand, just ask. Now will you please stop ruining threads with your bloody pedantry!!!!

The Problem is that there are not enough spaces and entry exit is via one point. Not that the RP is overly popular.

Surely if people are saying that it is "rammed", "crammed" or just plain full up then it must be popular?

It just gives the impression of being full due to too few spaces.

Oh, OK, So although the car park is full the retail units aren't busy because there is insufficient parking.
Personally I avoid going up there at the weekend because it is such a pain getting in,out and finding aparking space.
