WEB PAGE NOT RENDERING CORRECTLY:

I've noticed recently found that NWN Online now just has the vertical strip ad appearing on the left hand side of my screen,
and you have to scroll down to see the news content.

NWN please take a look at this issue.

Well, I just fired up IE11 especially for you smile.gif and it's fine here. It shows what I assume is a Mother's Day banner on each side (is that coming up?), and a strip of adverts to the right of the main content.

It's also fine with Chrome and Adblock (which is my normal browser).

Perhaps they fixed it in the 14 minutes between our posts, or they were in the middle of making changes when you looked.

No, he's right, the content of the page is pushed right down by the ad on the left hand side on my browser.

I have the same issues described with the banner displaying above all other content instead of on the left hand side

Yep, fine with me too.
That's exactly what I see.

Operating system dependent, maybe? Windows 7 SP1 here and OK as described.

Are gel and user23 running a different OS? (Please don't say XP smile.gif)

Not checked on my Windows 8.1 laptop.

I did see it happen on my FF, but F5 'cleared it' (Win 7). OK with Win XP FF and IE too. My hunch is something on the page is heavy and doesn't always completely render properly.

Ah! That could be the problem. People having problems, clear the cache (Ctrl+F5) and try again.

Yes it's on a Win 8.1 laptop that I have just started having the issue.
Not an issue with other sites I visit, and wasn't on NWN till recently.

There seem to be more adds than news on the page now.

When they stop publishing the print version of the paper will they effectively be an internet advertising agency?
