QUOTE (The Hatter @ Sep 30 2017, 08:01 PM) In Wales and Scotland prescriptions are free and in Scotland there are no University fees so it's not much of a leap for Labour. Why shouldn't we have the same as Scotland even now. Nothing is "free". You mean "free at the point of delivery"?

QUOTE (je suis Charlie @ Oct 1 2017, 12:42 AM) Ive started saving for my second hand Trabant, off white, no heater. Should be good, at least it will be transport to and from the cabbage farm while I wait for the Socialist Committee for Social Justice to hand down its sentence. Got my fingers crossed for the saltmines now, should be nice at christmas, Sorry! sorry! of course I meant should be productive at the non religious party members socialist day to remember the overthrow of the accursed Tory Government and all those who sucked the milk from the poisened teat of the treacherous state! Long Live The Party! Long live Jeremy! I get the distinct impression that you are not taking matters seriously ? "L'Etat, c'est moi " as our beloved leaders often think , if not actually say , before settling down to their evening cocoa . I see the Tories are now considering ditching tuition fees , not as you may imagine a cynical means of re- capturing the "yooth" vote from the JC band , but as an incentive to future growth in the post brexit wilderness . We need to have absolute faith in those who not only lead but have aspirations of leadership . Democratic process is a given , ( just ask the Catalonians ) , and the need to embrace it without reservation is your raison d'etre . Long live the political elite say I , for you know what is best for you and to h***l with the hoi polloi .

QUOTE (Biker1 @ Oct 1 2017, 08:58 AM) Nothing is "free". You mean "free at the point of delivery"? I agree, which makes it worse. Our cost of living and so the amount of VAT we pay as well as the Council Tax is much higher than it is in Scotland.

QUOTE (Andy Capp @ Oct 1 2017, 12:09 PM) I see the lying coward of a PM and her humpbacks have suddenly found money that was never available previously: 10bn for the poor to borrow and enslaven themselves to the capitalist machine. And your point being ? Vive la privileged few .

QUOTE (Andy Capp @ Oct 1 2017, 03:54 PM) It beats the profanity filter though! 😋 Mind you, I have no idea how obscenities like the word Tory gets through! 😋 What's the alternative? I think a Con / Lib pact as asbout as good as it gets. Corbyn knows his policies are nuts.

QUOTE (TallDarkAndHandsome @ Oct 1 2017, 06:06 PM) What's the alternative? I think a Con / Lib pact as asbout as good as it gets. Corbyn knows his policies are nuts. Now that is a thought . Labour know their policies are barking but keep presenting them to the electorate in the knowledge that they will never get into power and therefore will not have to deliver . The Libs on the other hand have no idea that they are well entrenched in the yapping club .
