Maybe the suggestion recently made by the Pope's aid that we are now a third world country is correct.
They will have us hanging on to the sides of the trains next. laugh.gif

There are no toilets on the underground trains either.

I don't believe there are toilets on buses running between Newbury and Reading either. It's dreadful!

Never happened to me before, be it Gidea Park - Liverpool St, Kenton to Waterloo or Tottenham Hale to Up West etc etc and I don't suppose it will but, lets face it, I have probably travelled a great deal more than some of the hillbillies in Newbury tongue.gif

However, I don't see how Southern Railway has any relevance to this area.

None of those services have loos, either Jeff. Done the Southern as well - Balham, gateway to the south! tongue.gif

Have they got toilets on the local trains to Reading? It's been a while since I used one to get home from a night out in Reading, but the lack of loos was very noticeable then!

Went to Reading once for a few pints. Got the 'cattle truck' back late at night. By the time we reached Newbury, my ears were almost bursting their banks. When the train drew to a halt and the doors opened I had no choice but to run straight to the railings and...well, you know.

Oh yes - the whole thing is a travelling lavatory.
