Two horses died before the first race, believed to be caused by an electric cable under the paddock?

Now why couldn't that have happened to Simply Red? wink.gif

Sounds horrific and I wouldn't want to be the racecourses insurers.

I posted it just after it happened, I certainly only heard about it through text.

Just thought some of those who know the racecourse well might have had an explanation for what the cause was, seen as that bit of the facility had not been worked on in 30 years!!!

Are you giving credence to the BBC over the credence of our Esteemed NWN?
You will be doubting the accuracy of the reporters next or pointing out the spelling mistakes??? wink.gif

As a local wannabee figurehead, that is, strategically, a bad error.....

I can't say that NRC has anything to do with local politics!!! I support the Racecourse, and it's a fantastic asset for the District, but I was simply asking if anyone might be able to explain what the cause was.

You raised the issue, which happened at the Racecourse (a private company).

Surely politics is in everything?
