Coming back for the mandatory six months (ahem) so I can continue with the UK tax regime, plus, winter is coming so I'm draining down the pool and putting up storm shutters, rain is rain whether it's here or in the UK. And yeah, not using it much if at all so it's gotta go, all about finding time I guess.

Right, gotcha.

Why do you think he had long meetings with the Hungarians and Poles, each of whom are right wing and and hold a veto? The letter asking for an extension is irrelevant.. as he said we are leaving on Oct 31st...

This is going to end badly, for all of us.

Can we decide if he is a Marxist or a communist please?

Just a different shade of red, that's all. It's like asking 'do you want to get robbed at gunpoint or knifepoint', semantics is all.

Glad your on board for the JC revolution. Let's get this party started! Luxury Communism for everyone.

I'm sorry, look up his nett worth, and some of his trusted henchmen, "luxury communism for the few, not the many". Nice to see the old ways carried on.

Yep. But Corbyn is the answer. We'll all earn the same SO I wont have to bother commuting. And siestas! What's not to like?

I'm gonna claim gender fluidity allowance and start attending Friday prayers, gonna be worth a fortune in benefit payouts, I mean, why work?

Look on the bright side. We will have a Greek climate due to global warming and will be more suited to a "sedentary" lifestyle...🏝😂

Dear God, can you imagine it, going to work by donkey cart carrying a paper bag with cabbage sandwiches in it for your lunch! I might have to go join TM in France, my business will be seized and turned over to the people's committee to make bicycles with and anyone over the age of thirty will be sent for re-education and gender neutrality acceptance. Happy days.

Well some may still think that leaving is the right thing to do and if we don't take this chance then we wont get another.
But those sorts of thoughts put you against the judiciary, the majority of politicians and the powers that be..
They really ought to get rid of this one person one vote malarkey if we don't Brexit to avoid a repeat. Just to make sure.

It must be obvious by now it's not gonna happen, Johnson had a good try and I admire him for it but the odds were always stacked against him.

I treat young and old alike. Not much to ask is it?
Lumping anyone over 50 as an old thick brexiteer is lazy and unwarranted.
Likewise saying people under 25 haven't lived and know nothing is also lazy and unwarranted.
The young can learn from the old and the old can learn from the young.
And I dare say Boris can learn from Angela.🤣

So, because you voted Brexit it doesn't mean you're automatically a thick gammon Nazi? That sort of thing? Umm, interesting concept, needs thought, I'll get back to you. laugh.gif

How are you defining young here? I do a pub quiz each week myself and I can assure you that my knowledge of basic subjects is not lacking.

The table I sat next two had three guys about mid twenties, while not all younger people are quite so dense I'm sure, they can't be. But it did make the popular assertion that 'young bright, older stupid' that I read about sometimes particularly amusing.

The main reason for criticism of the 'younger' generation is their steadfast refusal to accept that they don't know everything and that they themselves will always remain at the top of the knowledge heap. Every generation makes the same assumption and every generation is proven wrong. This one is no different.

Fnarr! I've just listened in at a pub quiz, the level of sheer ignorance at basic subjects amongst the young is both staggering and I might say, frightening.

Be quite funny though. Venezuela here we come.😂

Less bollocks is the "Unity Government" plan, which is ironically currently failing because it can't reach an agreement between the various parties. Corbyn, who's spent the last few weeks railing against the unelected PM (like what Gordon Brown was), says he'll be "caretaker PM" and promises it'll just be for a few weeks while they avoid a no-deal Brexit with their renegotiated deal (which can't happen) and put a referendum law in place, then have a general election.

Now, I'm no history buff, but an anti-Semite big on red-and-drab, who wants to put a pause on democracy while he's in charge for just a few weeks to sort **** out... kinda sets my Spidey senses going.

Luckily, as noted above, it doesn't appear to be happening because Jo "18 MPs" Swinson can't apparently stomach a Corbyn government.

Yep. TBH on a sort of weird way I'd almost welcome a Corbyn government. Just to see his disciples slowly realise what they have done. Oh and it would last about 18 months and ensure 20 years of Conservative rule after (until the next gullible generation come along).

Fixed term act, sorry, they've got four years of spite, class war, financial havoc and cuddling terrorists to do yet. Enjoy.

This country is ******.

No confidence motion next week, and 3.2.1 and Corby gets the key to #10. That's how ****** we are.

I'd prefer it if they locked them all in and gave them assorted weapons. Last man or woman standing gets to decide Brexit. All televised (Most likely be PPV).

Be interesting to see wicha are the first ones bumped off.😂

Wouldn't be Corby, he'd be hiding behind someone else.

Jess Phillips MP.

Yesterday;
Jess Phillips has begged Boris Johnson to apologise for his use of language designed to "divide not lead" as she spoke of her grief at Jo Cox's murder.
Today the Labour MPs told the House of Commons: "The use of language yesterday and over the past few weeks such as the surrender bill, such as invoking the war, such as betrayal and treachery, it has clearly been tested, and work-shopped and worked up and entirely designed to inflame hatred and division.
Simper, simper.

Dec 2015;

I would do anything that I felt was going to make the Labour party win the general election because if I dont have that attitude then all Im doing is colluding with the Tories.

If that means making Jeremy better, Ill roll my sleeves up. If thats not going to happen and Ive said [this] to him and to his staff to their faces: The day that ... you are hurting us more than you are helping us, I wont knife you in the back, Ill knife you in the front.

Gets better;

It was widely reported in September that she told the shadow international development secretary, Diane Abbott, to **** off when Phillips confronted the Labour leadership team about the lack of women in senior positions.

Hypocrisy, thy name is Labour!

Sadly, yes they are. Just as Toni Blair envisaged when he set up the 'Supreme Court' - designed to like the American one. Yet another serious Labour mistake.

We don't have a written constitution, so can't rely on strict interpretation of written precident. Our foundation is common law - what the Supreme Court gave failed to do is look beyond statute. There are common law presidents here, created by both John Major and Clement Attlee.

So, perfectly valid decision against the present constitution of the Court, but it certainly won't clarify any future case, arguably it makes things even more confused.

Concise, accurate and dare I say, prescient.

It won't happen now.. it won't happen tomorrow.. but soon the silent majority will take back control. I honestly believe we won't have another election now till 2022. And they may even stop that by some act of parliament. Because they can't trust the people anymore to vote the right way.

Elections a coming son, Corby is currently engaged in a free for all giveaway which the thicko left will love, till it bankrupts the country.

Good to see the verdict in the supreme court. The EU rules!! Full integration. Join the Euro. Abolish the HOC and HOL. Get rid of the Royal Family. Be ruled by Brussels directly. Get a European Army. Put Verhofstadt in charge.

One of the reasons given for trying to leave was that UK law was being subsumed, the UK law has spoken. Accept it.

Only for the past 14 years.

Libbers got in at the 93 by-election, before that the Tories go back to 1923, so almost a century of stable governance. Tory country.
