Have to say like many residents who live along the A4, I have to admit that I am very impressed with the brand new white LED street lights that have been installed. Nice white lights and yes they REALLY are energy saving too.
We know they are definitely energy saving LED's, as since they were installed we have rarely felt the need to switch on the lights in our house at night, they are almost good enough to read by. I would also like to thank West Berkshire Council as the new lights mean that I will not have to install any lighting in our back garden. Likewise it should also improve the security of of our back gardens too. -------------------- Obnoxious possiby, VEXATIOUS definitely not.

Wow! Sounds like serious light pollution. I think you can get them to screen them if they are a problem.
