No, I'm going to the USA because they have lower taxes, freedom of speech, accountable police chiefs and a hard work ethic. They reward family values and promote community involvement, and are multicultural through progression rather than flimsy human rights legislation. I am sure it's not perfect but I have involved myself deeply in politics here to try and change things and that didn't work, so now I am trying elsewhere. I don't know why anyone is against me doing that, especially as you don't seem to like my views and opinions on here.

I did know Labour were standing in my ward but I heeded your advise that they stood no chance of winning so have discounted them.

Do stop, you're embarrassing yourself. The unholy alliance at NTC started early 2008 and the two parties have hardly dared say boo to each other since, saving that spat over who was to "lead" the council. Read the minutes from December 2007 and January 2008. NTC had been in trouble for some time, but this is where it went off the rails. There should have been a public holding to account for the individuals concerned but the council bottled it, and while the business remains unresolved it continues to blight everything that NTC does.
