Easy peasy. A place where we can talk about shopping lists, zoo's and anything we want.

To start it off. The only thing I purchased this weekend was a pint of milk.

Lucky you, £73 worth of gravel, four pints of real ale, a drain downpipe bracket and two hinges.

£20 worth of petrol in an overpriced garage and 2 vanilla 99 ice creams.
Also my hedge needs trimming.
And my bike needs a wash but I can't use the hose!
Mrs. Biker is just drying her hair.
(I don't have a facebook account but I think it is something like this! tongue.gif )

Oh dear, and several hours work for you by the sound of it. Meanwhile, I used my milk to have a nice cuppa and a sit in the sun.

The ice creams were a special treat as it had stopped raining.
I cannot afford such extravagances all the time.
Anyone know what I am going to do with all these tadpoles?

I have to use a watering can to wash my bike after a bike ride these days, takes alot longer. Am going to invest in one of those preasure spray things that you manually pump up.

For a bicycle buddy that's over the top a bucket and a sponge would do.

you do need some form of preasure to wash a bike off that is caked in mud, a watering can is of some use a long with bike cleaner and a brush. On the whole hosepipe makes the job alot easier. Look forward to using it again.

Yes difficult to get to that swinging arm and rear engine area without a washer.

Dishwasher's packed up now.
Anyone know if it is more economical to wash up by hand or to use a modern eco friendly dishwasher?
What uses less water?
And less energy?

I don't seem to be able to ramble in the same way that you can Roger.
Perhaps you could use this thread to give a master-class?

Dishwasher uses less water. If you put immersion on just to wash up, more energy use than a dishwasher I suspect.

More electric perhaps, most people use gas to heat their water though?

I've just read another topic where somebody wrote, "low intolerance threshold." It got me thinking of something my manager said in a recent sales meeting...

"The potential for this product is unlimitless."

So that's what then, limited???

(He also says pacifically instead of specifically, perhaps he rather likes the sea).

Hey ho.
