It is all about publicity for himself. Sadly the only way people seem to be able to get recognised is through things like soaps. It is a sad reflection of standards in or society.

I wonder how much he got for that appearance. I bet it wasn't "chicken feed".

Yes but now all the chavs will recognise him (after all Have I Got News For You was far too intellectually high brow for them)

I don't think the money was the issue, but about being noticed and about popularity. Have I got News for you did him a lot of favours.

He comes over as a joke but he is very clever if you listen to him carefully. The trouble is as soon as he opens his mouth people want to laugh.

Maybe when Boris has finished playing mayor he could join with Ken and become a double act. They both were good laughs on Have I got news for you.

I saw Maradona play at Wembley for the Rest of the Word v the football league. I also had a chance to see him play for Spurs - in a friendly - but didn't go. Testimonial actually. I think it was Ozzies.

"In the cup for TottingHam"

I got the record.

I saw Spurs at Wembley FA cup 1982, 1987 and 1990. Also the very first semi-final played at Wembley; against Arsenal. Arsenal had only lost three matches that season; Chelsea, United I think and Spurs at that Wembley match. We beat them 3-1 with Gazza scoring that magnificent goal.
