All gammons are Brexiteers, but not all Brexiteers are gammons.

Nah, I’ve seen plenty gammon remainers.

Well they were wrong. However MPs can now ask us just to make sure we're sure. May's deal or remain. I'm content now to accept either, though I think it's better to remain. A hard Brexit with no deal is off the table.

I disagree, if we don’t brexit properly, then the EU sceptics will remain as a political cancer.

It might technically, but I have seen lots of cornflake spitting from remainers of late.

I take that back. All Brexiteers are Gammons, but not all that voted Brexit are Brexiteers. Many have changed their minds.

I would say there are as many who voted remain who now so sickened by the whole fiasco would join the leave brigade, as leavers who now believe and side with the project fear element.
The one thing that no one has pointed out is that if we do have another plebiscite we can not refuse Scotland a second say on independence. So there is more at stake than a few jollies in Strasbourg.

I think your choice of the word “cancer” amply demonstrates why gammon is appropriate.

I think there’s a tendency to think those that post on these forums are representative.

Gammon is OK, but I see gammons on both sides of the debate. I feel for the sake of democracy we have to see it through.

I don’t though. The angry brigade are definitely on the right and threatening violence if “democracy” isn’t honoured as if giving people a final say isn’t democracy.

The people voted to leave the EU. TM’s deal delivers exactly that.

I don't mind a final say, as long as we have another final say shortly after if I dont like the result.

So you're happy with TM's deal then? If so, fine. Problem is that the right don't like it and Labour are opportunistically seeking an election out of it. The result is it won't get through parliament. It's Rees Mogg and his cronies scuppering the referendum.

My preference is a clean break as personally I think the EU is doomed to failure. I may be wrong but no one can see the future. It's just opinion. Like yours.

Why stop there? We could have a daily vote via the red button on sattelite.🤣

Indeed, why? Just keep having "people's votes" ad infinitum, until absolutely no one gets triggered.

Premium rate phone voting is the answer. Sensible people have better things to spend their money on, which just leaves the "celeb" types and 15 year old school girls to decide our future. Worth a try say I. cool.gif
