Although not strictly acurate I sympathise with your observations.

Same.

I guess accusing people of pretending to be another person... a common thread, on this forum.

daily mail reader alert. meanwhile in the real world...

Aha. Giggle alerted.
I feel that, yes it's probably true to a point. Perhaps a general sweeping statement is not very good to make. It's perhaps stereotypical, I have not read the British National Party manifesto, as I am only able to read things printed on 100% organic, hand embroidered paper due to a rare immune disease.

I think a bit of a tangent was went off on one-d. It makes sense somehow.

It's hardly in the slums. Even for me. Why don't you go and see, for your own eyes?
I went about 2 weeks ago, seemed perfectly open for me.

I heard a rumour that, in 2 weeks time, at the Newbury Today offices, there will be free Candy. I'll be there. Will you?
I'd avoid mentioning free candy, around those of a younger age.

Maybe a section dedicated for these rambles, would be required.

I can bring Mrs T along but, I would hope she wore clothes.

I'm more inclined to just think that there wasn't a lot of thought at all on the part of the perpetrator. If you are suffering from some sort of mental illness then you probably wont be thinking straight. It seems a massive over reaction again though from the emergency services (racking up the overtime?), why close the roads down? What was he going to do apart from fall straight down?

Maybe he had a plan, to fall onto a vehicle. Or had a large bag of flour, or cement dust.
Could be a distraction.

I suppose, in closing the road down, it would keep passers-by from, as they say, rubber-necking. And causing further accidents.

Probably was - but how could a member of the public get access to a crane, behind a hoarding, on a building site? That's what I don't get.

I do believe people have arms, and legs, perhaps climbing objects, or simply using a running-jump.

I remember moving. It cost maybe £1000, for a professional company. Took 2 days.

Luckily, I shop on line. I suppose £1 parking for the Cinema, isn't too bad. There is free parking along certain roads, just means a bit of luck, to find it.
Alternatively, I carry a missile launcher.
I saw it on Grand Theft Auto.

I personally never understood the whole debating thing at school. I found it didn't really do much other than make a(the) student(s) feel like idiots. Being told to argue over a point you don't really care about or from a point of view you simply cannot relate to is not going to magically open your eyes to another side of the topic; it's just going to resent you more. It's very rare, rightly or wrongly that someone changes their viewpoint on something.

In an ideal world I agree with Andy Capp when he says people make up their minds without reading any sort of information about that topic but normally from a young age values are instilled from parents or friends.

See, I can do a serious post. I dislike being serious though. Makes you seem miserable.

This evening sounds perfectly acceptable if you're bored of the Salsa Dancing classes you take. Whoever goes to this event - don't invite me to your house for dinner. I feel I would fall asleep, face first in Spaghetti.
Although it would be interesting to see who, from this forum, turns up, and how weedy their arguments would be in real life. I'd like to see someone in particular, to see what they're like.
Here's a clue; I hope riddles are your forte. With the apostrophe above the e.
Rhymes with Pandy, Dandy, and has something to with pudding and pie.

I suspect no-one from here will show up.
Would be most surprised.

Maybe hAndy Capp and GMR should show up. Would be very funny.

I agree.
Why is there a need to move items around, so frequently. One minute, Frozen Peas, the next, packets of instant rice. I became bamboozled rather rapidly.
We should go food shopping together. I imagine it would be quite the experience.
Be thankful we are not in the colder continents. I remember they banned Marmite from sale. People import it now, from the UK or similar.

It's become the hushed spread for the masses.

Morrisons in Reading I find reminds me of Lidl. Just with yellow instead of blue. They have nice fish but unfortunately I agree with NothingMuch about the meat. I'm sure it's delicious when cooked in a wholesome broth, but the sight of it is enough to ruin anyones appetite.
Not that of Mrs T though. She piled as much as she could carry into the trolley.

I agree. Too many Tesco's.
In this case, I feel every little does not help.

Perhaps we might want a Sainsburys. Or an Asda. Just not Morrisions. They will always be "northern" to me.
I miss the days in the 90's. Waitrose, when Somerfield, was a much nicer shop. I remember a relative working in there (not the Nephew) but have since grown apart.

With bulimia, you don't have to go on a diet!

I do believe, that is true.
Although not from personal experience, I think it's not the right thing.

Doesn't tend to work as expected. Some negative health benefits, or something.

Mummy told me not to tell. By Kathy or Cathy or something, something.
Only good I have read. Was given to me actually. Well, borrowed. But never returned to the owner. I read it while in the bath. Or associated activities.

My Nephew (not a brother) also enjoys them! We went to the Air Tattoo last year. It was quite spectacular. I do believe he still has some videos on his iPhone-mabob.
Unfortunately, no sitting in a seat. And the ice cream was terribly dear. But we rustled up enough change to pay the surprisingly unhappy man. I thought that was part of the job description?

Are you Jeremy Kyle?
You remind me of him.

Just shouting "YOU, YOU'RE SCUM" in people's faces. The joke is most people who watch that are on benefits themselves. As it's in the daytime.
