True, it is following football and F1 in the descent into the entertainment business.

Well a deal has been reached within the last couple of hours (as I suspected and said it most likely would).

The question is just how much damege has this fiasco done to Sky, as just on a customer relations matter this has been bad. What is worse is the way Sky have alienated such a large amount of its subscriber base. That although Sky is the BIGGEST TV provider in the UK, even when that is taken into account Sky still has the largest amount of customer churn of all paid UK TV providers.

It would appear that many people have seen Sky in different light and their arrogance has seen many of those customers that can, switching to other companies.

Arrogance about what? Do you mean Discovery Communications asking over the odds or Sky refusing to pay? Discovery were asking just shy of $1.25b for their portfolio, I'm not surprised Sky told them where to go originally.

Let's be brutally honest, most of the customers won't give a stuff. Did Tesco loose many in their recent tussle with the big food manufacturers?
