Another perfectly good power station reduced to rubble.
Just watch those electricity bills rise!!

It was the coal and oil-fired part that was closed. The less-polluting natural gas-fired station is still active.

Until that runs out!

As OTE says, nearly everyone uses electricity to a greater or lesser degree even "environmentalists".
There is no totally environmentally friendly way of producing it so...........
1. We accept the above and continue to generate it, solar, nuclear, shale, coal, oil, gas, hamsters in a wheel!

2. We stop using so much or stop all together.

While considering the above please bear in mind the population of the world continues to rise unabated.
