Obviously he isn't all bad, but I had forgotten some of his decisions, not least the council settlement where he abstained from voting (which in this instance is crude way of supporting the motion). I particularly enjoyed the picture of Russell Brand, arch anarchist, arch Socialist. The same Russell Brand who lives in a £3 million pound house by the Thames and who has just had a new indoor pool and sauna installed. Don't see too much equality with the masses there.

Nice false paradox. I don't know whether Russell Brand is a socialist or anarchist, and they're mutually incompatible so he won't be both, but more to the point you imply that there's an inconsistency with a socialist living in a £3million house, and there isn't. There would be an inconsistency with a socialist government creating a society which supported an elite at the expenses of the poor and didn't expect everyone to pay their fare share, which didn't create equality of opportunity, and which didn't provide a good standard of education, health care, and public services free at the point of use, but none of that prevents the talented and industrious from becoming wealthy unless they plan to do it without paying their way.

I just think it's hilarious that he's preached about "wealth inequality" , it's easier to be a revolutionary when you're​ living in a mansion. ��

I don't like him and I'm not aware that I've ever listened to a thing he has to say, but I still don't see the problem, at least not for socialism.
