You know when they list "Health club" as one of the advantages you can see they were sort of running out of things to say.

And sorry but I don't wake up one morning and go "Yes, I'd like to visit Watford" so why on earth would ANYONE who doesn't live in Newbury come here for any reason

Still made me laugh. I was like "oh, I know where that is!!!" like everyone does when they are watching a film.

It acts as a place holder that people can link to. I don't see anything untoward in the clip. Indeed, it is easy to forget why we all like to live here.

I may be wrong but haven't they been relegated 5 times in 5 years?

I don't believe anyone has, the company who made the video made it to show what they can do.

I like Newbury, and I like it for many of the reasons in the video, and much more could be said for it too. It is a lovely place to live and work. It's genrally clean and smart, there are many excellent places to walk the dogs, run and cycle, the shoping is mundane but then I'm not big on shopping, there's planty of work, and by and large Newbury people a good honest decent folk.

Only thing I'd complain about is confusing historical for historic.

Like some current football teams, Newbury had to face their demons from HMRC four years back and that started the slide back to reality....
They've now been relegated four successive seasons including this one.

As for the video promotion of the town, what's not to like about Newbury? On top of the other things mentioned, the job market is pretty good compared to some places and that means both my kids (in their 20's, but still kids...) have been able to get good jobs. Thumbs up from me.

Agreed, although I am unhappy at the projected population growth forecast. The things I like about Newbury are slowly disappearing.

I thought the video was really good. It made the place look great by simply not mentioning any of the transport problems
