I think if he manages to do that from Newbury he should be knighted. More realistically he’ll just foam at the mouth like the rest.

On a serious point though, I imagine the Lib Dem’s will take this seat.

If the election is post brexit their remain ticket will be nil and void so their only real chance is a GE in October, yet they voted against that proposal. I see "call me Dave" is putting in his two-penneth worth by stating that Boris only became a leaver for political reasons which means that he knew the vote was going to go the way it did. Yet he still went ahead with it. rolleyes.gif

Meanwhile the yanks are fearing a recession. Hold onto your hats boys.

Only for the past 14 years.

Libbers got in at the 93 by-election, before that the Tories go back to 1923, so almost a century of stable governance. Tory country.

I’d say it’s definitely there for the taking this time though. Especially with Benyon gone. Good to see some integrity there.

I quite agree. The Liberals will win Newbury. It voted remain in 2016. Personally I couldn't vote for a party that wants to forget the last 3 years and ignore 17 million voters. But people will. I also think the Conservatives will be the biggest party at the next GE and the Liberals will be neck and neck with Labour.

Wod on the street is that Boris is set to lose the court case. I wonder if a plan B exists.

Revoke article 50, join the Euro, abolish the HOL and HOC, set up a remain Vichy type unelected government. Replace the Queen with Merkel. Job done.😉

Labour party conference this week. Wonderful new policies.

I'm looking forward to my 32 hour week. They are calling it "Luxury Communism". You don't have to work and everything is free!😂😂

According to the small print because the downtrodden proletariat will then be on a par with pensioners the latter will have to return to the workplace in exchange for their remuneration. In a stroke this will save the country billions of corbyn pounds, (the shiney new currency), so poor bunnies who are suffering from workday blues will instantly be able to drown their sorrows in a free pot of "happy" pills from their GP. Of course he won't be there because he too is on a 4 day week but lets not have a few technicalities stand in the way of a god (sic) idea.

If it wasn't so bloody serious it would be quite funny. rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

Good to see the verdict in the supreme court. The EU rules!! Full integration. Join the Euro. Abolish the HOC and HOL. Get rid of the Royal Family. Be ruled by Brussels directly. Get a European Army. Put Verhofstadt in charge.

One of the reasons given for trying to leave was that UK law was being subsumed, the UK law has spoken. Accept it.

That's irrelevant. The liberal stasi have decided they are guilty.
And I actually watched Corbyns speech today.
Oh... My... God
Nationalise everything, 10 quid an hour from 16, 4 day 32 hour week, set up a government pharmacy to produce our own drugs (Can you imagine the lawsuits when they mess up) and my favourite... Full employment rights from the day you join. No probation. Just get a job and go off sick on full pay with depression. 1 day should do it.😂😂😂

I will not work in this Country under that loon.

It won't happen now.. it won't happen tomorrow.. but soon the silent majority will take back control. I honestly believe we won't have another election now till 2022. And they may even stop that by some act of parliament. Because they can't trust the people anymore to vote the right way.
