Race day again tomorrow.

A good day out for most and I'm sure that the concert will be enjoyed by many.

I myself though will avoid Newbury Town Centre like the plague tomorrow night due to the countless drunks that will be spilling off the Racecourse and into the Bars of Newbury after supping all day and night. Some, having lost their money will no doubt be spoiling for a fight.

I will be at the races during the day, but like you TD&H, I will avoid the town after.

I will also be avoiding simply red wink.gif

Yes, roll on the usual drunk racegoers making the town a no go area.

maybe there could be more fires in town following the races. they would start from the static from the cheap suits the average pikey racegoer wears...

Sir, I trust you are not being ageist here !
One can only assume that this is one of those long haired popular music groups that I believe have quite a following amongst the younger elements of our society.

I wondered why my neighbours children refer to me as Jurassic

Simply Red were an all male pop group with most of their success in the 80's and early 90's. Their Stars ablum was massive including the hits, for your babies, Stars, and A New Flame. I think. I am happy to be corrected as this was from memory

Education is a wonderful thing.
Thank you for the information so I can now impress others with my knowledge of popular culture.
