Endless Tweeting from WBC:

I don't use Facebook, but am shocked that someone employed by WBC has the time to make 25 tweets today up to 11am this morning on a variety of matters seemingly to justify WBC activities.
I thought they were desperately short of funds & resources; why not redeploy this employee into something more useful for the taxpayers? angry.gif

I really don't understand why either, however you'll find it's the 'thing' to do these days. Waste of money, totally. Social media, gotta luv it.

Interesting to note that my (very) recent communication with WBC regarding a street parking restriction sign that prevented wheelchair passage was met with " The sign has been there for a number of years without anyone complaining but as our highways budget has been used for this financial year we will review the matter in 18/19 " .
If it wasn't so funny it would make one incandescent . angry.gif

Seems a reasonable, straightforward response to me.

I just had this mental image of standing on the pavement for the next 8 months awaiting for someone to come and move the sign akin some Monty Python sketch . biggrin.gif Had it been a self-propelled wheelchair it would not have been quite so funny but of course disabled people shouldn't be allowed out if they are going to cause expense to the local tax payers should they .
