QUOTE (TallDarkAndHandsome @ May 5 2010, 10:53 AM) ..... Who is just about to Vote for Christmas?
All 3 main Political Parties have lied continually through the election campaign and have not discussed how they are really going to cut the huge deficit.
Whoever get's in will tax us poor workers out of existence.
Personally as for the outcome I have a deja vu feeling of 1992 and can see Brown being returned with a small majority. I do hope I'm wrong but with huge swathes of people relying on benefits that would probably be cut by other parties I can see him being returned.
Another 5 years of Brown? Looks like that Emmigration package to New Zealand is becoming ever more attractive... Yep, you may be right about most of that but Brown will be getting the elbow regardless of the result. He is too much of a liability.

Same place you did. Only difference is that I understood the difference bewtween the £ & NZ$. Current exchange rate is £1=$2.1NZ. So, NZ$14,000 = £6,666. What that also tells me is that earlings in NZ are lower than the UK.

Lamb might be a little cheaper.... Bye then...

Gordon will most probably not get it again, it's quite possibly David Cameron. David is just like the American President Obama, he has very good skills in which he attracts the audiance to what he has to say, making us believe in everything he tells us. But it's such a shame to think that there are people behind the scenes, once the elections are done with, who will get David to do other things, and not get everything done as to what he has told us he will do, just like Obama.... Did he take out all the troops, No. Did he shut down Quantanimo Bay, oh he did try... No. So don't expect everything David tells you, including the other party leaders, that what they want will happen.
Change? Ha, I've heard this so many times before, it only gets worse.
If i was to vote, i would vote UKIP. Their real change!

QUOTE (Iommi @ May 5 2010, 12:23 PM) so, 'Average' male hourly rate = 26.98. Working week = 38 hours. 26.98*38*52 = $53312.00 gross pa. Current ex rate is £1 = $2.10, so $53312 = £25386.00. Taxed at 21%. Median earnings of full-time male employees were £531 per week in April 2009 ( ONS website ), or £27612.00 pa Taxed at 10%.
