Happy anniversary - it's just a little over five years since the cracks started to show at the Town Council.

QUOTE
Item 9. on the agenda of the September Community Services Committee: To receive the minutes of a decision of the Urgency Sub-Committee made on 18 August 2010, to authorise a Hydrogeological Survey in Victoria Park, using up to £5,165 from General Reserves.

Who'd have thought, from such modest beginnings that such a strapping great snafu would grow.

Happy anniversary Newbury Town Council. Here, I baked you a cake:

Stuff Bake Off, I thought we are writing a new reality pantomime. You know, something for future generations. It'll be a really modern 'alternative' production though; where the wicked uncle gets better role, the ugly sisters get as many shoes as they want, and Buttons gets well and truly screwed. Cinderella; who's she? Some traditions hold good though, it's the same old thing year after year, come rain or elections!
