Yes, I guess we are all feeling pretty let down by such a series of lack-lustre, unamaginative and feeble outings by our country's team.
Something is seriously wrong with their attitude in representing England. It is like they don't really care.

Bad team selection, bad substitution, bad everything.

Excellent England performance at Old Trafford, though.

QUOTE (Andy @ Jun 28 2010, 12:45 AM) *
I think the "non" goal was a real turning point, as I thought we were on the up at that point and looking like we could start to dominate a bit, which could well of changed the whole game with the invigorated confidence and momentum that would probably have come.

Totaaly agree Andy.

I think GMR and others were OTT in their criticisms, which might be down to the fact that they posted almost immediately after the match.

Not that I ever want England to lose, but if they have to I just wish it could be without controversy.

Wake up FIFA use the technology available angry.gif

I'd rather go out now, than in the semi, or even final game.

We are rubbish at football. It's as simple as that. Our players are:

a: Overpaid
b: Overhyped

Fabio should get rid of the lot of them. I'd have rather seen the U21 squad play with a bit of passion than that dross. 1 yellow card somes it up for me. No commitment. Just wanted to get away with their 'WAGS' on holiday somewhere expensive. They should be boo'd by all supporters when they return to there clubs. I hope most of them disappear abroad somewhere. They are wecome to them.

The money they earn on International duty all goes to a charity set up by Becks and JT.

I think the point about pay though is that they score for their clubs week in and week out when they are getting all the bonuses, they don't seem interested in doing it for free.

They get paid for England, plus bonuses.

Apparently, England players donate all their pay for international matches to charitable causes via the Team England Footballers Charity. I don't think there was a single person on the pitch that didn't want to win.

That is interesting, it is the first time I've heard of that. Do they do that because they want to, or because they are forced to?

They've been doing it for several years now, which includes the time they qualified for the 2010 WC.

Does being taken on a free safari count as a taxable perk?

Of course not, but I don't always read all the posts. So if I've missed anything you said, or anybody said, I apologise.... but to read every post on here I wouldn't get off. This is not the only forum i am on, plus I run my own (and I don't always read all those posts either - that is why I have moderators) laugh.gif wink.gif

How would you IF Harry became next England manager should Fabio get the boot?

That is why I hope Fabio doesn't lose his job. I don't want Harry to go, in fact I wouldn't be very happy. Just when we are doing so well.
