Hello Bunnies, assuming there are any left still dropping into this local ranting page.
So with our beloved leaders shortly allowing us to venture forth into the local wilderness, the time for reflection seems appropriate.
So what, if anything, have we learnt?
Firstly Corona viruses, by and large, are pretty nasty entities, but so are rapists, child molesters and members of the Green party.
Secondly lock-downs, along with face muzzles and the unemployed do not work. It will only work where the population is sufficiently sparse in the first place, which rather negates the implication of one anyway.
And finally proof, if proof be needed, that we have engaged probably the worst Prime Minister since Lord North to run our Country. The man is a complete imbecile.
But as the majority of the great unwashed think he is the best thing since England won the World Cup, I am very likely to be ridiculed for that also.

But I am looking forward to two and a half weeks self-catering just outside Reykjavík. wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif

...and yet.... and yet not that long back there were great swathes of the country convinced that Corbyn would be just the man for the job... they kinda went off the idea come General Election time, but they kept him in charge of the 'opposition' for long enough, with his "I have a letter from Hilda in Blackpool..." approach to PMQs and the other dog's breakfast of a party leader process he continued to follow... careful what you wish for. Boris will be a victim of ridicule for years to come from those with the magical powers of hindsight.

Oh how right you are. Hindsight.....the attribute so enjoyed by the vacuous, yet when it comes to the antipodean, singularly lacking.
By the time Labour have reached some form of consensus on Princess Nut Nut's choice of wallpaper, Boris the Buffoon will be dining out on his quickly penned memoirs, alongside Cameron and the rest of the mentally challenged political elite.
