Presumably 'LibDem' is now considered a toxic brand. Does this mean they'll all be re-named? Nick Clegg , Judith Bunting, et.al. any ideas?

"THE European Union (EU) could face a bitter end over the next few months if Party for Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders wins the Dutch election. Mr Wilders would be likely to take the country out of the bloc, Marine Le Pen the Front National leader would be likely to follow suit, leaving Germany faced with the prospect of funding the cash hole.

The PVV leader has been placed first in the polls with 31 per cent of the vote, a month before the Dutch elections.

If Mr Wilders does pull off a shock win, it could pave the way for the far right leader, Marine Le Pen to come to victory in France in May"

Exciting times in Brussels!

Only when it fails will the true scale of fraud and scandalous behaviour of these unelected EU leaders be found out. It will make our MPs look whiter than white.

And another thing!

"TIP OF THE ICEBERG Spanish supermarkets secretly hoarding massive stockpiles of vegetables despite British shoppers facing RATIONING
Bad weather has wiped out stocks of veg for Brit customers, but in Spain shelves are heaving with greens"

**** Europeans! Withholding our veg supplies, its a Brussels plot to drain our vitality and sap our strength. I'm holding a rally next Saturday outside the town hall to demand our fair share and to petition our MP to see he represents our interests! Scribbled placards and badly drawn signs and tea shirts ARE obligatory so people will see we are SERIOUS! It's OK when they want us to buy their oversized sombreros and straw donkeys, but our life giving veg?

"What do we want"?
"Broccoli!
"When do we want it"?
"NOW"!

Le Pen odds on to win 1st round of french elections...

https://www.betfair.com/exchange/#/politics...tId=1.129013026

Stange old system in France though where you can vote against someone in the final round so its unlikely she'll win. Currently just over 3/1. Would her election sound the death knell of the EU?

If Belgium, Holland go far right it may be enough to topple Brussels, if Marine gets in with either of the above it would spell the end..

Lol, that explains my Brexit vote! 😋

"The data confirms previous indications that local results were strongly associated with the educational attainment of voters - populations with lower qualifications were significantly more likely to vote Leave. (The data for this analysis comes from one in nine wards)"

I wonder if a study has ever been undertaken of the results from general elections to see if the results for various parties "were strongly associated with the educational attainment of voters"?
I wonder which party(s) those of "populations with lower qualifications" were more likely to vote for?

I don't believe it was a test to calculate the eventual winner.

Well again, it comes down to understanding the data and actually making sense of what it tells us.

Is what has happened, and worse, still happening a severe indictment of the UK's education system? In other words, those who are presently said to be clever and well educated simply aren't? People who simply shout and scream because they can't justify the nostrums they have been given haven't been educated, merely trained. Seriously, we have a problem!
