I went through Hungerford with my daughter tonight and it was a real treat to see what they've done for Christmas (lights/ decorations). Then you go through Newbury; what a pigs ear.

How come they can manage it and we can't? What we got looks like a blind and deaf man and his dog did. sad.gif

Its a disgrace that we celebrate Christmas at all. As a multi-cultural society it should be banned! wink.gif

Hasn't Newbury been like it for years? I'm sure some of us are used to it. But yeah i do agree, would be lovely if every shop down Northbrook Street had christmas lights on in different colours, or the same colours... that would brighten Newbury up a treat. But, considering the issues we are having with saving electricity and not leaving lights on.... can't have that now can we laugh.gif

Why would a DEAF man make a crap christmas decoration designer?

(And no, it's not a christmas cracker joke...)

They probably wouldn't, however, in the Newbury case I think they picked the worst one ones out of all the good deaf people and their dogs to do our decorations. And don't forget in the Newbury case he was also blind... the dog wasn't too well either.

If he was blind and deaf as stated, he would probably struggle a bit.
