The Large Hadron Collider is a project which is being entirely manned by alien life forms which have taken on egg-head shaped human form.... All these 'mad scientists' are in fact cybernetic organisms from another dimension whose long term goal is to rid every known (and unknown) universe of mildly intelligent life. In Earth's case they've created a method to allow Mankind to destroy itself by pressing a BIG RED BUTTON to 'see what happens...'...

I would suggest that all of the mad scientists involved should have their garages checked out... I bet they've all got their escape pods warming up in readiness for the 'experiment' to do it's deadly business.........

(You will be assimilated........)

or... Nanu Nanu....

Yes - 'In Theory' nothing will happen..... The problem with Theory is that it is just that. A concept. You don't actually know what will happen until you do these things for the first time... I'm not too convinced that the need for such knowledge is worth risking the entire human race and planet, even if it has only a miniscule chance of happening. blink.gif

All through history it has been declared that some experiment or other would cause the end of the world.
From sailing off the edge of the world to nuclear energy the doom merchants predicted it would be the end. You are all doomed!!!
But there again suppose this time they are correct?

Beware the law of averages!!! blink.gif

Oh dear....

QUOTE
BBC Admit they were duped by LHC press release
By Katia Moskvitch
Science reporter, BBC News

Scientists working on the Large Hadron Collider project have been forced to admit today that the images released over the weekend, which were reported to have captured the moment of impact of Lead-Ion proton collisions, were in fact produced by a children's art toy.

Whilst some of the images were entirely convincing...

... other images released to the press were decidedly more questionable.....

LHC spokesman Dr Wilhelm van der Schafft was unavailable for comment.

Additional images were however released showing the scientist celebrating moments after the collisions took place.
