Perhaps User23 has a life outside of forums and doesn't spend most of his/hers examining what other people have to say or think...?

I very often pray to him above to give User23 a life. wink.gif

WBC about midway up the range in charging for removal of such rubbish and very few councils now do it for free, I'm afraid. Have a look at other councils websites e.g. 30 sovs in Pompey but with concessions for the elderly etc.

Just been looking on the Harrow Council website for something else and, out of interest, looked up their charges for collecting bulky refuse. They come highest so far, the charge for a single item that is deemed non-recyclable (e.g. armchair or wardrobe) being no less than £40. A lot of wealthy people up London, obviously

It makes me sad that you don't answer questions when you expect other people too.

I answered honestly and it wasn't a throwaway remark.

As for you being 'sad'; you won't get any arguments from me wink.gif

Throwaway remarks must go in the appropriate receptacle. i.e. The remarks recycling bin.
