Newbury Today Forum _ Newbury News _ Row Flares Up at the Townswomen's Guild

http://www.newburytoday.co.uk/News/Article.aspx?articleID=18518 that a row has apparently flared up at the Newbury Townswomen's Guild over something or other. With the two sides set to rubber-stamp an unprecedented million pound precept in a month or so it had occured to me that they might try and stage some kind of Christmas Panto. The ladies do protest too much, methinks.

I really did giggle at the "Last Post" from Trumpet.
I am in contact about family history with a relative I had never heard of 10 years ago.
But all the photographs I stuck on CD and the DVD I sent her,
look like that smashing Temperance advert. Didn't work for me though.

Some are still alive (Freddie Mercury),.
Not going into the fields with the other lot! (in the OP snap)

No, there really was a piggy-porker, she walks arcross the field at the end of the reenactment.
