Because people chose to? Happy to have a 2nd referendum fella, as long as it written in law that we hold an in / out one every 4 years? Agree?? Oh and 51% wins I'm sure you would want a "threshold" of 70 percent or so to ensure you ignore the will of the people for ever. Happened elsewhere in the EU. It's what they do. #mafia

People chose to based upon a great deal. What was promised can’t be delivered and that’s why we need another vote. The reason we haven’t left let’s not forget is because of leavers voting down the WA.

How do you phrase the question?
What is the question?
Does 51 percent win?
When will be the next vote?
How long will it take?

Wrong, again. Tell me Mr B Liar, where did it mention 'getting a great deal' on the ballot card? huh? The question was, stay, or go. That's it, clear and simple.

Unless we go to Europe AGAIN, and ask for an extension AGAIN, times already run out.

Quite agree fella.. that's why they just want to revoke it without ANY vote... I personally will be very unhappy If that happens. #farageiscoming

After 7 weeks since concept that would still be amazing. Though most newres types will say it's a disaster (despite polling first) 🤣🤣

It's like 'Adventures in Brexitland', yay! Seriously though, it's going to be interesting, revoke and piss off 50% of the electorate? Or go 'no deal' and boost sales for burger king?

If whoever wins the Tory election tries to leave with no deal, the government will fall through a vote of no confidence which will get us an automatic extension.

It is amazing but he’ll never win a general election and we know he’s popular among a certain type.

Who’s that then. I don’t like him and have never voted for him although I’ve voted Labour in the past.

Ok, so if you had another referendum and the answer was stay, let's say 52 to 48. Would you expect that to be the end of the matter for say 40 years?

The way that I would run the referendum, you would need at least 60% of the votes cast in order for any change to the status quo to be made. This would apply to any future referendum, whether it be on Brexit or Scottish independence or any other matter. The emphasis should not be about proving why the current state of affairs is a good thing but rather why the alternative is better. This approach is commonly used in statistics in the area of hypothesis testing. So to answer your question, I would expect the outcome that you have described to be the end of the matter for 40 years, as it was after the previous referendum to join the Common Market.

So in summary, you want to remove any chance of remain losing again. Why not make it 80 percent? 😂😂

Or 100%, or just give poll cards to remainers? You know, just to make it balanced.
